Put an ad on gumtree recently with my phone number, received an email asking me if the item was still for sale, I answered yes and got several reply's asking simple questions, sent mail back asking for their phone number so we could discuss their enquiry. this was the number supplied 0426 707 098 which I have not rung suspecting a scam. When I put this number in Reverse Australia got a reply "no result".
