We let all our calls go to answering machine. This scam number left a message about our internet connection being corrupted and that we’d have to .....

Four calls from 3.15p.m. and the latest one 7.50.p.m. A relief in a way to know it's a scam and not someone desperate to reach me. Thanks reverse call!

got a call about my internet being corrupted do these guys think we are idiots or what and to show the mobile number is even more stupid on their part

Scam call - male with a very heavy accent; almost unintelligible. He said his name was "Eric Watson" and that he was from "do not call australia" (Hmmm, I don't think so). He said that he could help block unwanted numbers and asked how many unwanted calls I receive. oh, the irony. I hung up before it went any further.

Had the same problem. Obviously not Telstra. Had a similar call, but Ozzie accent from (02) 5879 6424. If it's about your computer fault, go along with it and when they tell you to turn on your computer, put the phone down and get on with your life. They eventually get tired of waiting.

An Indian sounding woman saying she was from Telstra and that there had been suspicious activity on our internet at home. I hung up.

indian accent (in fact i received lot of fraud calls with very strong indian accent) saying from Telstra, I said you called a wrong number then he was rude to me then I fxxxed him and blocked this number.

Same as others - Said she was from Telstra - something with my internet connection
I said I wasnt even home and she asked if she could call me later! I hung up on her!

I didn't say anything when I picked up the phone with this number displayed. It hung shortly after. Checking that number on this system and it shows up as a scammer.
I am in Goulburn area, NSW.

Asian sheila telling me something wrong with the computer

lolz got a call from Asian lady from this number and she said my internet connection is being hacked and many people are using the connection. Then she said to follow the steps... like switch on the computer, press cnt +R button on keyboard simultaneously...lol...crazy,,,, disconnected the call...Informed this to Telstra team

I had three missed calls in one day. No messages left. I don't answer numbers I don't know. Have blocked this number.

Caller: Fake Telstra connection guy

Indian accented fellow called, saying he was from Telstra regarding my internet connection. I said I have none in my name, except for an allowance on my mobile. He asked me to repeat as this was not anticipated in his list of questions, I feel. Then hung up.

Claims to be from Telstra and having problems with connection. It is not true.

This women called from 242 Exibition St Melbourne, most likely from the pay phone out the front. She told me someone has been using my internet and she was from Telstra. Well I said, you've called the Police Station in your error of Judgement. She had only called our mobile number 5 minutes prior. She wanted our credit card number. She wasn't concerned we were The police Station either. Bloody scammers. The mobile number from the previous call was 0424 412 563.
