Asking if I had a car accident - scam call

Got the call, didn't pick up. Looked up the number here then blocked!
Thanks to everyone else who has posted about this number.

Scam call. Very thick Indian accent that I could barely understand. Poor call quality. Was asking details about my car accident. When I asked him to give me details about the company he was calling from he got angry and defensive and eventually hung up on me when I wouldn’t tell him anything.

Number called at 6:33PM. Agressive Indian male tells me I'll be arrested because I haven't paid the excess from a car accident.

Moment I challenge him, he became abusive before hanging up.

Caller: Peter

Identified himself as Peter calling from the Insurance Commission of Australia. Said I would be arrested if I didn't pay my excess for my car accident. I identified myself as an insurance broker and that the Commission would never get involved in excess collection. He hung up on me - obvious scam.

Some Indian bloke asking me about my car accident - I said “car accident hey” then he hung up and can’t call back to abuse the curry muncher!!!!!!

Had a missed call from 0424 135 987 on Thursday 28 Jan 2021 at 15.07. Glad to read the comments for this number. I am on Vodafone and feel they must sell their numbers to these companies, as I receive no end of scam callers or nothing to do with me

Got it too. Was mega angry when I gave him an alternate number to call - "Do you have a pen? Here it is: 0 0 0. Call this number and tell them about my car accident."
Said something unintelligent and hung up!! Bahahaha!

An Indian guy called and asked "About your car accident last week",
then they hung up.

Got a call, Indian accent asking if I had a car accident, when I said no multiple times to the same question, he hung up

A lady who identified herself as Nancy - very thick accent - I asked if she was from a telemarketing company - she responded NO

Actually I'm calling you about your car accident - I replied - I haven't had a car accident - this is a business phone - please remove me from your list - she hung up

Caller: Australian Insurance companu

Received the call. Female Indian accent and very hard to understand. Stated she was calling from Australian Insurance Company regarding a car accident. Poor quality call
Tried to get further information.
When I asked her about how she got my number got frustrated and hanged up. Don't fall for this type of scam.

Knew straight away it was a scam, asking If I previously had a car accident.
Told them not interested and hung up right away.

Caller: Fake NRMA

Scammeea. Said they were calling about my car accident last week.

wow they tried it on hard with me today! i told them they were a scam and they wouldn't let up lol.
