Caller: An i....t Didn't recognise number, no message, so googled it… Thanks for all previous comments. I don't answer unknown numbers, I Google them - leaving caller waiting. Save the number in contacts, give it the name zpest, so all the zpests are at the end of your real contacts ... then press 'done' (up at the top), go down again and press 'Block this Caller' (which is in blue) then press "Block Contact' (which is in red). This works, after a couple more unanswered tries (because you can see it is a pest) they give up.

YES! There is a major scam going on at the moment with this exact number and description regarding some ridiculous 'package waiting' crap. Just about everyone I know are getting these stupid texts as well. Just block them on your phone. However, it won't really help as they just use a different phone number. They are total losers with nothing better to do.

Caller: 0423 956 305 For the first time I ordered stuff from Australia Post & Officeworks. Both recommended I track delivery. So, I felt safe when I got this sms from 0423 956 305.
What I thought was a problem turns out to be a blessing (based on all of your comments). My phone is dumb, and so I couldn't click on the link they sent. I did type it into my browser which came back as an error.
I was still trying to work out which of the two shops had sent me the sms, so I came here; only to discover that it is a scammer. I am now puzzled as to how the scammer got my number, but it must have something to do with one of the online orders I made.
