Dude calls me saying they are from NBN someone is trying to fraudulently access my IP address etc thing is he sounded legit because of all the tech talk and wasn't as obvious as most scams and already knew alot of info. And seemed to be able to answer my questions, so I said I wanted to call back when I have someone more tech savvy with me as assurance this is not a scam.

Refered to the unique Id no. on my computer which I documented then refused to talk me through the steps to find that number unless I had my computer infront of me because "it's too technical" for me to document the steps, but not too technical to go through the steps if I'm on my computer. I repeated that I was checking it first and would call back and to just give me the steps "too technical ma'am"
Bullsh*t, tell me the steps.
"Oh you say this us bullsh*t, no problem ma'am, we will just disconnect your internet"
Yep NOW you sound like a scam.
