Caller: I don’t know Optus says it’s a disconnected service I missed the call. Called it back with an Optus message saying “ this number is no longer connected” Below is proof of the missed call Received by my standard Telstra missed call message service. You missed a call from 0422 711 761, who said "Goodbye." This message was provided by Telstra at no charge to you. —— I receive an average of one scam call per day, mostly trying to get my ID saying they’re from Services Australia. tax department, or Calling about a car accident (touch wood Ive never had one) Warning: don’t give out any information. Including confirming your name or other details, if they insist ask them to give you a number to call back but check it’s authentic first! Lastly if you get a robot call or similar and they place you on hold before speaking. Hang up as they could be using your mobiles location depending on your phone settings.
