Scammer, beware. Uses fake FedEx courier/payment link to try and secure your details.

Absolutely terrible scam artist!! Something didn't sit right about the courier pick up and so I decided to google the number and came across these listings. Contacted me on WhatsApp and claimed to be from Australia but could tell by the language that they were someone from overseas. When confronted that I knew they were a scammer, deleted chats and blocked me.

Scammer. Used fake account to arrange pick up of Gumtree item I was selling, using FedEx company name. Supplied bank card number so I could be paid but instead was debited nearly $2000

This number is a scammer! Do not provide any bank details or personal information. Shortl after posting an ad on gumtree, I received a whatsapp message from a number pretending to be interested and advised they were going to arrange a courier via post office and would have the funds transferred prior pick up. Something didn't sound right so I googled number and red flags everywhere stating scammer. I made it clear I knew they were a scammer and I received a very unpleasant text message back calling me a slut and let's just say there were a few unpleasant messages going back and forth. The scum also used my default photo on whatsapp and drew a penis near my mouth.
This person is a dirty scum ! Please do not fall into any trap. Block and delete ASAP!!!!

Do not pay or provide any information to this number. Block straight away.

Same as above. Scam through gumtree with delivery service. Called me a whore and a fat dog lol and told me to speak russian

Yes scam for sure! I was selling my wedding dress for $600 and this person contacted me on Whatsapp, they said they'd like to organise a FedEx courier and secure payment. I asked if they'd like to try the dress on (which you think would be important for a wedding dress!) and they said no the photos looked great. I thought something was odd so I replied saying let's chat over the phone, but when I called they didn't answer. I then googled the number and luckily found this post.
I had another scammer say similar things but using AusPost courier. I'll definitely only arrange for in person collection and someone who's keen to try the dress on.

Same story - Gumtree - FedEx - can't talk now as putting the baby down. It's a scam!

Suspect scam, I posted an ad on Gumtree and asked to use a delivery service.

I advertised an item on Gumtree - this number contacted me by WhatsAp and wanted to use a service supposedly offered by Auspost - to pay me and then collect the item. Checked with the local post office - it's a scam. So I messaged back not convenient pick up only and the scammer sent a sad face in return! Finally checked the number to find this thread.

Again tried to purchase my item on gumtree, wanted to use Fedex etc etc....I called the number from work (so no caller id), a message from an elderly woman saying "I dont answer my phone when driving"....reported

same as others, tried asking for details for delivery service from gumtree. Called them a scammer played the innocent victim. Don’t fall for it
