Got a message today telling me that my temporary security number is xxxxx. You will be prompted to change your security number and password upon logon to Bank SA Internet & Mobile banking. I'm not even with that bank.

Bank of Melbourne - security code message.
Don't actually have an account with them, or St George.

This is St George Bank. They sent a text with our security code to set up our new account

not spam. it is from Bank of Melbourne the old St George.

Received SMS from this number message - Your temporary security number is . You will be prompted to change your security number and password upon logon to St.George Internet & Mobile Banking.

And email from St Geogorge internet banking, seems someone try to reset the security number and password.

hubby got same msg today. I also got emails but they were addressed to him.
tried calling number from a land line.... continuously busy!

Rang the number and got an Optus message saying the number has been disconnected
