Caller: Amaysim This a number used by phone company Amaysim (who use the Optus network) It's used to send customers info regarding bonuses and free additions to their plan. Such as giving you bonus data on your birthday, public holidays and times such as Christmas and Easter. It's a legit number from a real company. It's not a number you can call back or reply to

Caller: Amaysim only looked up because I was confused with it showing up as an unknown when all other texts come from a recognised contact. Just alerted me to my bonus data for my bday.

They sent me a text saying that I had activated the SIM card 8 years ago and it was time to 'celebrate' but I only activated the SIM card early this year.

Caller: 0421 263 657 DIRTY SCAM ALERT: many SMS received recently warning about not changing device before the 3G network shutdown. All look legit, EXCEPT one of the web link includes 'amays.im' instead of 'amaysim'. SCAMMERS should watch 'the beekeeper' to consider pain you could give to others and karma pending to hit you back!

Sus sms. Had some personal details and claimed payment didn't go thru (it had). It is a legit amaysim number but I wonder if it is being spoofed by scammers especially when one sms had a link to amays.im not amaysim.

Caller: Amaysim If this is amaysim ( which knew most of my plan details) then the msg which said not renewed, when already renewed in their records, should at least have a valid return phone number.!Which it didn’t .SPAM could be.

amaysim: (name), we've been unable to charge your credit card ending in (card) to pay for your $15 Unlimited 18GB plan due to insufficient funds. To avoid payment failure and potential disruptions to your service (phone number), please ensure you have at least $15 in your account and restart your plan via the app or My amaysim. Check your email for full details.
I looked in the app and it said that I have paid for todays renewal in my invoice and my bank statement says the same.

Caller: 0421 263 657 Received this message after logging in to my Amaysim account on my computer. I've never had this happen before. I think Amaysim need to do an investigation about this.
A couple of days ago I got four or five SPAM calls, but they came through from my own cell number. Get it together Amaysim!
