Someone came calling at my tiny wee mobile phone.
I will not answer unless I know who they are?

All that was left was a number 0421 117 593

Allegorically:
The Law Commissioner asked at the, my, initiating contact call: ‘Who are they?’
I demurred.
A very little later he, or perhaps she, asked again: ‘Who are they?’
I demurely demurred.
Again a little later in the same conversation: ‘Who are they! You’ll have to tell us eventually!’
I assured the Law Commissioner that it was a bona fides Case and all names and contacts would be made available.

Well are they?
Who?
Anyone worthy?
Whose ‘Who’ is in ‘Who’s who.’

We wonder sometimes who they are? Or, even how they are?
Not the latter, in this Case, for we know (epistemologically, or in theory) that an active all paid up Law Commissioner is ... well. In the sense that he, she maybe, well: The Law Commissioner, is legally ‘fair and reasonable’ and will not be at threat from seeming well, unwell, to a caller.

Didnt leave a message, tried to call back but was unable to be connected.

Returned call via my landline and voicemail says I cannot be connected
