When they purchase the debt from the supplier then you are no longer responsible for that debt because they have now paid it off. They attempt to extort money from you in order to recoup their money and also make money because they buy the debt for cents in the dollar. They attempt to tell you it was assigned when in almost all cases they are bought. It cannot be both a sale and an assignment. Perhaps you should do more research but hey if you want to keep paying those seagulls go right ahead.

Credit Corp continually chase you for supposedly unpaid debts that they have purchased from a finance company for as little as 4c in every debt dollar you supposedly owe. So for a $1000 debt they have purchased for as little as $40.
Never ever ring them back as your credit year blacklist will start again.
Your debt gets wiped after 7 years if you don't make any contact with them.
Block their number but they will continually ring you on other phone numbers that they have a rotation of hundreds of landlines & mobile phone numbers they use.
Rule of thumb is never answer any phone calls from people you don't know if they aren't in your address book.

Credit Corp. I blocked this mobile number due to large amount of calls, and then they started calling from a private number. I have previously provided an email address for communication, but they choose to continue with the calls.

Don't enter into a contract with them by agreeing that you owe the debt, ignore the offer of easy payments, you don't owe them any money as they have no contract with you, its a scam.

These people call from multiple numbers up to 8 times a day. This is illegal and harrassment. I have no contracteith them. I refuse to ‘confirm’ personal details over the phone as it could always be someone using a debt collection name to get personal details for identity theft. I tell them this and hang up. They are aways insistent and want to keep talking. Not my problem if they buy up debt bundles from various sources which debts were written off years ago by the seller. Original debt was disputed in the first place and instead if taking me to court which I was happy to do they wrote it off and on sold it. Block all calls now.

I had a loan on a van for work, after being put off work for good due to an accident I surrendered the van to the finance co, when I was thinking of going bankrupt I called them to get details and they said that the loan had been forgiven and that I didn't owe them anything anymore, then I got a call from the bottom feeders and I told them that they should forget it as I had no contract with them, they attempted to get me into a contract by offering me 'easy terms' but I said no, these bottom feeders are scum who go after people who can't stand up for themselves.

I had an accident and could no longer make the payments on my van so I called the finance company and arranged to surrender it, it was delivered in very good condition and even had near new tyres, they were appreciative of this and decided to forgive the outstanding $15000, later I got a call from these monkeys asking for money, of course they offered me easy payments which I think was a scam to get me to admit liability to the amount owing and therefore to enter a contract with them, when I pointed out that I had no contract with them and wan't going to play their game the guy on the phone nearly cried, he said that when he pays $1000 for a $15000 debt he expects to get $15000, when I asked him why I couldn't buy the debt he didn't want to know, I then told him that buying debt was a pretty stupid thing to do and to stop calling me, of course they still call about every ferw months for a week or two but I just don't answer unless I know the person calling so they eventually get sick of it for a while.

Got a new number from Optus and all these debt collectors keep calling it asking for Natasha. I said there ain't no Natasha here and I got this number new from Optus. They don't believe me and said I need to prove who I am, so I keep saying if you know another man who goes by the name Natasha, then he's the one you're after - not me. So annoying. I complained to Optus and they just offered me another phone number.

credit corp. has rung every day for the past few months. doesn't ever leave a message. called them back. said they were chasing an old debt. ( I know I didn't have any) Turned out they were chasing someone else with the same name ( after confirming my date of birth) Said they would remove my number from the database. let's see!

It’s is illegal for them to even ask for money!! When they call say ‘THANK YOU FOR PAYING IFF MY DEBT’! Then tell them that you know it cost them cents on the dollar and that you need to see the contract which you signed with them!!! You have no contract with them! You didn’t give them permission to pay off your debt. THIS IS ILLEGAL. NEVER PAY THEM. THEY ARE PRESSURING YOU TI ENTERING INTO TAX FRAUD AS THE BANKS HAVE ALREADY WRITTEN OFF YOUR DEBT AND GOT A TAX DEDUCTION ALREADY!!!

They are absolute scumbags. I'm not paying the money I owe as I disputed it with the bank - they referred it on to Credit Corp over 5 years ago, and the a**holes are still calling me.
