Caller: Credit corp Facts: debt collectors are NOT legally allowed to call anyone more than twice a fortnight or it is considered harassment.
I have had some EXTREME circumstances and have advised them of this. They tell me to submit a statement of financial circumstances, they do NOT have the right to ask or know. I have offered literally what I can afford, $20 p/w/k and they insulted me and refused. So I told them to take me to court please. I am happy to show my financial circumstances to a judge and he/she will grant me to pay no more than I can afford.
I work with people with disabilities in a 24/7 roster, they call,I answer their many numbers thinking it's our SOS work numbers and when it's them,I explain I'm in the middle of showering someone or administering meds or changing an adult diaper etc, that I'm at work and instead of asking for a good time to call, they are just rude and try to just carry on about a debt, so I have no choice but to hang up on them. I call them back on the numbers they call me on and it says the number does not exist.
I KNOW my rights as I used to be a debt collector myself. However, the company I used to work for would stick to the rules and even had the brains to except as little as $5 wk and when you get a collective number of people even paying the tiniest amounts, the clients (creditors) gets a decent some of money recovered each week.
KNOW your rights.
After 5 yrs of no action on your debt, NO debt collector is allowed to chase you any minute nor mention your debt to any creditor.
I have tried being reasonable with these people, but they have been just rude and uncooperative.

Haha there isn’t no need to make it out like there in the wrong.. Afterall there just wanting their money back if the case is if you did get a loan from creditors.. I know I’m in debt myself and I was trying to advoid them only because I had others things to pay off but hence I’m know I’m in the wrong and sorted it out with them now 😅 but it’s not fraud .

Caller: Credit Corp Said his name is Raphael They call me at least 2-3 times a day. Up until 7pm at night. I’ve told them I can’t afford $100 fortnight now that I’m not working but they won’t accept $40 fortnight. Sick of not being able to answer my ph cos I’m scared of who is on the other end. Making me very anxious. They are extremely rude on the ph and wouldn’t put me through to a manager when I last spoke to them.

Caller: Credit Corp Constantly calling, my friends and family, even my work, got through to Head Office saying they were a friend, and it was a surprise and wanting to get in touch with me. Abusive text messages, threats, they change their numbers, Mobile and Landline. I do not owe any money. Just keep deleting a blocking. They get your numbers and family off FB. names like Isabelle, Trent, Edward, David, Ben.

credit Corp. called me last week chasing a friend of my husband, the last time we saw said friend, my husband was putting him on a plane to Darwin from qld over a year ago. Advised caller of this who told me they'd take my name off the file which they clearly haven't because they are still calling. frustrating.

Caller: Creditcorp I was previously a Debt collector, they will pull information from your credit file like workplaces you have listed on loan apps, phone , utility and so on they have access to tenancy databases, when you make a rental application, often regardless if you are successful and move in, the real estate with list your information, name , dob, mobile number addresses, previous and current employers and also will have information on whoever else applied for the rental application with you, and often will have a copy of your drivers licence or passport for you and anyone that applied with you. They will use Numerous databases to pull your info from, almost any e-commerce site you buy things from these days will sell your information if you don’t opt out of their marketing and 3rd party services. If you can enter into an arrangement to begin making payments, if you are scared, which is rightly justified by some of the tactics used get a 3rd party to act on your behalf to make you feel comfortable, if you don’t want to pay what you owe, make sure you know what the consequences can be, court judgement depending on the state it can increase the time they can legally pursue the debt by up to 15 years at a court appointed interest rate, if you really do not intend on paying back the debt Know the the statute of limitations for your state, answer all numbers you don’t recognise and suspect may be a collector then pick a fake name remember it and always answer saying that hello the name you chose before being asked, don’t immediately get annoyed and say remove the number, any good debt collector will see right through that let it play out over a few months then when you feel like you have played the game for long enough, ask for the number to be removed politely and not to be called again, you may still get a call here and there when they copy and paste the number out of a database. Good collectors with long tenure hear every story you can think of and will get very good at picking up lies by listening to the tone of your voice and will have already read all the notes of previous conversations, so be consistent on what you say, most common lie is, just got this number a few weeks ago, numbers take roughly 6 months after being disconnected before they are recycled, so if your number had always rang but never answered, then one day when you do decide to answer and say sorry wrong number never heard of that person they will know straight away that’s not true and will Likely resume the weekly collection calls. Most of all change your voicemail or delete it so you don’t have one, nothing funnier when you speak to someone over months claiming not to be who they say they are but never changed their voicemail 🤣. If you are going to avoid your debt Don’t make the decision lightly, there are ways to get help through free financial counseling services like the national debt helpline 1800 007 007 or other non profit financial rehabilitation services, if your mental health is being affected reach out to services like beyond blue. Even getting a letter from a doctor stating the constant collection calls are having a serious effect on your mental well-being can buy you 3-6 months of no collections, but remember while you are not making payments they have no legal obligation to freeze your interest, seek advice from a financial councillor or a lawyer before making any decisions
Best regards, Somewhat nice debt collector

Caller: Credit Corp My bogus debt has gone beyond the statute of limitations so they have purchased this bogus debt from the previous debt collector. They are nothing but bluff and bs, they have as much legal right to recover a debt as the person owing a debt has to pay said debt. They cannot garnish wages, they cannot take you to court and if they do somehow get you before a magistrate he will be on your side. They won't take you to court. They bought your debt from the stock market paying a fraction of what it's worth while the institution you borrowed from have already recouped their monies via their insurance... that's what insurance is for!

Caller: Retards No matter what these retards say to you on the phone.. DO NOT tell them anything. Don't admit you owe money, don't say anything. Best thing to do is don't even answer the call and block the number. Look up the number after they have stopped calling for 5 minutes, take a look around google and see who it belongs to or if it comes back to this site, then you'll know if it's these retards or someone you know

Caller: Credit corp Nope they took mine to court apparently so I found out when getting a ruling from magistrate court didn’t even know about it wasn’t served. The debt they were claiming I had no knowledge of weather it was wrong person or just made up completely who knows but definitely wasn’t mine I had debts yeah but that wasn’t one of them court awarded them the debt and recalculated it to whatever costs they added now it is 10x the amount of the fake/bogus/magic debt I never had that is now legally mine apparently. Biggest scam this side of china. Just because they aren’t using weapons doesn’t make them any less criminals at least getting robbed in the street they actually have to be there in person not a wolf in sheep’s clothing picking out names on a list to rob and never even have to know who they are robbing, you deceive no one you are criminals just more pathetic hiding behind your computer hoping no1 realises you are the worst kind of evil.
