Recorded message saying I owed $300 for my international eBay order

Picked up call. Couldn't hear anything for 5 seconds then background noise half second and call ended. Potentially a scammer checking if my number is answered. I expect more scam calls shortly.. but aware. Be aware. Nefarious.

recorded message saying a suspicious transaction had been made on my Amazon account

how to stop this ?

This call was an automative phone message, said it was from border force and all my bank accounts would be block, said to press one. I hung up and tried to call the number back but it said the number was not connected, please check the number and try again.
