Yep. Amazon scam call today

***WARNING***

Received a call today 14-DEC-2021 from 0420 040 001, where a female stated she was from from Amazon Prime (Bad English) even sent SMS Codes to validate whom they where LOL, she also stated when I requested to cancel the subscription that they could not do that unless I installed an additional app via the Play Store LOL. I said NO, verify who you are to me or this is a scam.

I then went online on the PC and Canceled my Amazon Prime membership properly. They / she wanted around $40 / Bank details, assuming the app was to gain access to my phone data / background services.

Scammer supposedly from eBay stating there was a huge charge pending. Given options but didn't push any numbers and they hung up.

Said it was related to Telstra internet. Scam caller.
