Received 2 texts from 0419 928 395 offering a Mercedes motor home at well below market value. Requesting email address as reply to text. I am suspicious- thanks to others for their posts on this page Are you still interested in my 2004 motor home for $31,800.
Looking at motor homes however price seems way too low. Suspect a 'con' job as the SMS said to email zxvc (at) hotmail (dot) com
Caller: Ad on facebook and subsequent emails
An ad on facebook for a caravan for sale appeared to be too good to be true! However, the more emails received from Jason Davidson with more details, the more it appeared plausible. He sent the same information as in previous comments stating he is moving overseas, etc.
Email is akw776 @ hotmail.com and when it was entered into google search, this site appeared!
Thank heavens for this website and thank you to the people who took the time to record this scam!

Still at it with a RV well below market value. People always check deals especially the "good to be true" ones.
This website is fantastic

A client just called in to say they got scammed 17k by a man from express freight called Jason Davidson. Its appalling if fraud crime haven't shut this down after ive seen its been going for quite a while
Caller: Jason Davidson
Still at it, this time he offered a 2005 Mercedes Sunliner Motor home for $33,000 Vin number WDF9046132A929789. Tried to view the Motorhome was told it was with Express Freight in Port Hedland and asked for a 50% deposit. Asked to view the motor home before payment but told to pay first to view the home. Address given seems to be a vacant warehouse on Google.
The same scam is being run in Queensland courier mail. The papers need to do better to protect consumers. Especially since they've been active for so long. Phoned the number in the camperhome ad and received text back today. So, still active. At 11.20 am 30/10/2018 ; he is at it again .I was offered a2005 mercedes sunliner at 33;000 $ tooo cheap for real, oh and yes he is away so sent him your details, thanks guys for alerting me on internet good to know. BEWARE- In Saturday Advertiser and Sunday Mail Adelaide 27th and 28th October 2018 advert selling Sunliner motor home 78000 km using akw776 @ hotmail.com very cheap. I smelt a rat and googled the supplied email address only to find that he has been busy trying to con many others of their hard earned dollars. Glad you all are smart enough to do your own research. Sadly because he is still active someone has been caught. I would like to know however how he extracts money from people? Caller: Jason Davidson by text
He's still at it. We answered an ad for the top line Paradise motorhome in the Brisbane Sunday Mail as being at Rosewood, QLD. The following weekend it had a sold note on it. About a week later, he sent a text asking if we were still interested. Too good to be true at approx one-third of market value at $42,600 but we asked for the address to inspect it. Suddenly, he was away in Thailand and the motorhome was in Port Hedland. We then received the same letter quoted by Anonymous in May (above) with the simple substitution of "motorhome" for "boat". Smelling increasingly rotten fish through this process, we asked for details of the shipping agent so we could contact them direct and said we would fly to Perth to see it. So we have called his bluff because he hasn't been in touch since. He used the email address akw776 (at) hotmail (.com). The VIN number he quoted was WDB9061552N456068 and of course, it was a legitimate number for a Mercedes chassis with the Rego 487ROR.
We note there are several complaints and comments from 2015 about the same scam using the number 0417 200 063.
Asking if I want to buy his motorhome. As I have been looking I answered. I believe this was a follow up from a call I made to an advert in the Adelaide Advertiser some time ago.
Had an SMS asking if still interested in Mercedes Campervan. SMS suggested I email to akw776 @ hotmail.com.
I said I would call back next day. Did so and number came up disconnected. I sent text asking for Rego number and suggested contact me by SMS for inspection. No responses.
Methinks a scam.
He a con be careful he a crook If still interested in 2011 Paradise Inspiration Ultra Diesel Auto(82321kms) ,for 41.700 text me back your email or contact me at akw776 (at) hotmail (dot) com
Obviously a faker as iv never looked into this kind of thing. Ignore this wanker
Thanks for getting back to me. As I was saying, I have moved to Bangkok to join my Thai wife and kid, that s the only reason I'm selling my boat. I have it stored in Port Hedland,W.A.with a shipping company, they will also handle the delivery and payment as they offer protection for both of us. They just require a deposit, not payable to me, until you'll receive and inspect the vessel.
I am convinced that my boat will pass all your tests, but if by any reason you will not be satisfied, you'll get refunded in full and they will have the vessel picked up at my own expense. So, you'll have custody of the Profish for 5 days before committing to buy it, obviously the deposit will not be a payment in advance.
The boat will be delivered with clear title, service records and the bill of sale signed by me. This is their standard procedure and it is more than fair for both of us, please contact the shipping company for any other questions.
P.S. HIN is AUCCBRN755L808 in case you want to run a check.
Fraud advertiser..boat is in manly qld..this person has used photos and details from another site to falsely try and get a deal done...no voice contact only messages or email
Obviously scammed and I was silly enough to email him Fake ad in Weekend West for Cruise Craft boat 24300 should be 60k. Story is consistent with posts above and also when you type in the email given through texts. Donm43 @ live.com Received a random text 23/4/18 offering a fiat Motorhome at less than half price of market value.
Won’t respond back to texts. Wants me to share my email or email them only. Seems pretty obvious it’s a scam.
Text received as follows:
