I have received 20 odd msgs from this number claiming to be Uber. I contacted Uber officially and it is not Uber, someone is trying to hack the account. I’ve blocked the number now but very annoying!

I reported this to Teltra and they couldn't care less. They said they weren't responsible, interested and there was nothing they could do

Received about 30 messages from this number over a matter of days, all claiming to be Uber. Language differences in the messages suggest that this isn't an automated response, so I have blocked the number. If you're also receiving this crap, I'd suggest the same!

UBER!!! I deleted my account because of all the dramas , credit card hacked etc. they don’t seem to care !!! Now these text messages to confirm what?

Have received multiple messages. "Your Uber code is XXXX". Then some have an additional part to the message "If it wasn't you Reply STOP to unsubscribe". Having read former comments, it's obviously a spam message.

Scam.. I reported this to Telstra and they were not interested. they said there wasn't anything they could do and it wasn't their brief to investigate. The police said it was my server (Telstra) issue .. BLOCK

It was just a Message on my iPhone from 0419 385 051,which started off by saying:
Thanks for registering. 1339 is your account verification number....
I didn't open the message but went to my 'Message' listing, Edited it by selecting, cancel and deleted.
So sorry I don't know much more than that, but it sounds to be very much to do with the previous comments.

I just received a text with message "Uber code: 6714". I immediately went into ipad settings and closed all access to uber app on all devices and blocked the number. I have only used uber about 4 times and did not request anything. I assume they are trying to access accounts. I also do not trust the comment made on May 29 saying they rang Uber and confirmed the code using this number.

Sent a text message saying Your Uber Code XXXX. I've never used uber in my life. I've blocked the number.

I have the Uber app but have never used it. I'm getting constant messages, about 7 in a row saying my Uber code is this 4 digit code. Tried calling this number back (with my number blocked) but it says it's disconnected. I've checked the Uber app but there isn't anything showing in there so I'd say it's a Scam message. Very annoying! I'm going to try blocking this number but not sure if it will make any difference.

Keep getting uber numbers. Had three today.

Received multiple texts in a row twice in two days from 0419 385 051 with the words ‘Your Uber Code is 2391’ and other numbers. I rarely use Uber. Blocked the number. Hope they drop dead.

Sent 5 times in a few minutes with varying message text differences. Appears to be a scam that is spamming using an AI throwing up the language differences. BLOCK THIS NUMBER!
