Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

5 October 2020 @ 17:23. Caller, said he was from some "Investment Company" and that if I give him my details he would look after me? I told him to give me $100,000 and go ahead and invest it for me. With that he promptly hung up.

I called back number 0419 266 234 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

When I called the number back, it came up with unable to take your call from this number.

Spam number don’t answer they will ask for bank account

As soon as I answered they hung up

If it's urgent they will call me back

Obviously another scam number, I called back, no message can be left for this number.

Caller: Interactive Investors

Knew my full name. Americanised accent.

Tried to call back. Said no message could be left. I’d say it was junk.

A foreign voice who didn't give any details when I asked who he wanted to speak to so I hung up.

Caller: Said he was from "something" Investors, I didn't catch the name, before he hung up

Person asked for me by name and then hung up.
