We have a vehicle for sale on Gumtree. Within 2 minutes, got a text from0457 712 274 asking us to email them. Refused & told them to email via the Gumtree site. They replied from a 2nd number of 0418 336 906 asking again for our email address. We refused & asked them to call us. Reply came back from a THIRD mobile number of 0418 213 466 saying they couldn't phone, therefore can't buy the car. All three numbers are part of a scam group.

Got a text saying its Detective Box at Sale police station wanting to speak to my son. This happened after three phone calls from private number which I didn't answer

Got a message from this number 0418 213 466 with link for free ticket to Sydney Business Expo on 30th and 31st May. Be aware looks suspicious..

Called me on (02) 8898 0135 asking if I knew [my husband]. When I said yes, they asked if I could pass on a text message to him. They sent the text message from this mobile. Given other comments here, I’ve now blocked both numbers

Received a message from this number - Please ask Danny Chamoun to call Rod on 0488 854 917.
Rod is a debt collector.

Sent text message saying "Hello Jennifer, your verification code is 459690. Please enter this code to verify your details and continue booking"

Called from that number saying I had paperwork to pick up at Swan Hill police station. Had email address attached fl it so I emailed back. They emailed back once. Unsure if it's scam or not
