Received a text stating …’I was surfing the Internet and found your own video there’. Do not click on the link as it will unleash malware onto your system. I pity the elderly, who are not experienced enough to recognise these criminals and their intent.

Text message saying my parcel has shipped, with a link to 'tracking' from benkyodo.jp
Highly suspicious, as I have nothing coming from Japan.

Also got text message re video - have blocked contact and deleted message

Please note it is my fathers number that is being used as the number to call and his number is a legitimate number. he is getting very irate calls and texts from people believing that he is behind this scam. Telstra are investigating. Please just block caller and don’t ring back or leave threatening messages. I know everyone is suffering with this flubot and others like it but my father is very elderly and it is very distressing for him as well

I’m definitely not clicking that link. Scam.

Saying the package could not be delivered and you need to know why so click on the link. Looked suspicious so I deleted as I don't recognise number

Very suspicious. Haven’t clicked link but it’s likely malware.

Got message saying package was ID refused but can still be delivered. Odd considering the whole house hold is home. Dodgy link is dodgy

I received a message asking if I uploaded a video with a link so you could check it out. My anti virus stopped me. Number now blocked.

Received a text saying "delivery is delayed: Let us know if you have already received the package" and a dodgy looking link.

Says I had a delivery that was shipped- it looked very suspicious. Please don’t click on sus links especially normally tracking sms will include your tracking number
