A company saying they were offering guidance on how to pay money into superannuation rather than paying into tax. They said it was in line within Government guidelines to help small business employees build super. Sounds like bullsh*t.
Asking all sorts of personal info including income, if you own a house, your equity level in the house. I hung up on them.
Why are they ringing from a mobile number very suspicious!

It's about government super incentives for small businesses owners. Cold calling not from a government department.

I missed the call, but was left a brief message advising that I had provided rough details regarding tax benefits information and to call back. Tried and no answer

Asked if i was a home owner, working, etc. I gave info because there's nothing they could do with it at all to even slightly try to scam me. You can look up anyone's house value on the internet anyway so it couldn't be a scam. Financial planning or property company i'm guessing. I'll see how i go on the next call though

Fed up with all this BS
Be weary of any calls not recognised
Don’t forget if you have a voice key linked to your ato or any other government corporation
This is all they need when you answer
    So be warned

I told the caller (Aussie Mary) that they had no web page. She said that was correct. I said that I needed her company's ABN. She then ended the call.

She said all the things that have been listed by others. AVOID

Said there maybe government incentives available depending on my circumstances. Also asked questions about my age, work, home ownership and whether my spouse works. Too dodgy for me to continue.

Caller: Annette from Australian Information Network (bogas)

Asking for personal information to see if I qualified for a Government incentive...
This has nothing to do with the Government it is a cold call data gathering exercise for a wealth management company call Active Consulting - left enough info to get a call back from their consultant (No Caller ID, so can't block), trying VERY hard to get me in for a 45 minute consultation - would not advise what the costs would be incurred. Suggest don't answer this or anyone asking this level of detail.

I never answer. Spam/Fraud Warning in big red letters & phone automatically cut off call. But they call A LOT and always leave a voicemail, which is usually of themselves heavy breathing.

    Caller: Annett

Calling about a 40% Tax back incentive.
    Collects this information:
    Do you own a house?
    How much do you earn?
How much did the house cost?
How much did you pay upfront?
    How much in super account?
    Married, or Single?
    Postcode of said house?
    First and Last name?

Says you are, or not ellegable then ends call. No explanation of tax incentive, it’s purely for your information.
This person was very friendly, and casual to talk to.
