Text message saying to Delete ALL messages from phone?

Scammer writes

Delete ALL Stored messages from your phone !

Caller: 0415 011 740

Nuisance drongo still texts me today
"Delete ALL Stored messages from your phone !" This fool is quite persistent. Has been sending the same message from 2021.

SMS stated "Delete ALL Stored messages from your phone!"
Don't know why someone would tell me this! Actually I've got no other messages to delete.

SMS to "Delete All Stored Messages !!". Not a normal one - the only options for me were to Read or Exit, so I always choose Exit and it disappears, and this is what puzzled me and made me wonder if my very old phone had a storage limit but I was never going to delete my messages. I eventually checked this page and it has happened to others which confirmed it is a scam. Happened a few times in the past 2 or 3 years but I am not sure if it was always the same number.

Text message saying to Delete ALL messages from phone with a little green save icon to click on, yeah right, just hit the back button on Android and it disappears. I must say very smart way to get into your phone.....Anyway they are now blocked!

Received a text message from this number with a link to claim a $1000 Coles Credit card. Total scam

claimed to be from world remit online money transfers asking for id,(just hangup)

Claiming to be from Melbourne and wanting confirmation on a beauty salon booking

Someone called Dave sent text saying could earn over $150 per hour working from home with a link to a web site. Definitely a scam

Claimed to be from Woolworths offering Gift Card via link to web site
