I called back number 0412 798 296 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

Caller: Some guy from India, that I could tell from the voice.

A machine that spoke really good English told me that my internet was going to be cut within 24 hours and that I should press 1 to get myself connected to a technician.

So I press 1 and a guy with a thick accent told me that there was hackers in my computer, and my firewall was down.

I asked him if he knows my name? yes I asked him to tell my who I was to see what they know about me and to see how good his English is.

He knows my name, both first and last names as well as my post code, but I think that's it.

So claiming to be from the NBN a government thing and since they know my name, I asked them who I am with? as in I.P. (Internet provider) I even asked, which internet provider am I with?

Poor guy couldn't answer so I ended it there.

Block this number! When I answered a recorded message/computer voice said "your internet will be cutoff within 24 hours because of unusual activities". I hung up and didn't listen to the rest
