Text message said “ Hi Dad, just letting you know my phone is damaged, so I’m on a temporary number for now. Please send me a text to 0412 447 289 when you can so I know you’ve received this. Thanks!”. Assume it’s a scam.

got the text from a +63 number: “ Hi Dad, just letting you know my phone is damaged, so I’m on a temporary number for now. Please send me a text to 0412 447 289 when you can so I know you’ve received this. Thanks!” This is a scam number do not reply to it!
