Messaged me over gumtree claiming to have car pets I was looking for, but would just send me screenshots, I’m glad I checked here, didn’t feel right, total scum bag scammer

100% scam. Got scammed out of $250 by this person. Can’t believe I fell for it, I put it down to my sleep deprivation with a newborn and excitement.
Put up a wanted ad for a pram on a gumtree. She responded offering a pram and offered to post. Usually I don’t accept but thought I was getting a good deal 🙄. Username was “Alan” but when banking name came up as “Alexandria Mucci”. My naive self gave her the benefit of the doubt assuming she was using a partners account. She was very chatty the whole conversation, right up until I transferred the money and she went silent. The penny dropped instantly. Don’t make my mistake and forget to search history beforehand!!!

He tried to scam me on a part I wanted on gumtree and would only txt and not let me call him. Asked for photo and sent me one off google. Avoid him or get ripped off.

Been scammed for over $140 by this person early feb 2023
I put an add on gumtree looking for certain items.
"Lil " contacted me saying they were in tasmania and had what i was looking for. I was trusting so paid the money asked. Have never seen the items and cant contact "lil"

Total scum bag scammer lose. Responded to my Gumtree wanted advert and when I asked for photos, they just sent me images they just pulled from an overseas eBay listing. Had some fun with them pretending I submitted payment. He he
