SMS sent claiming to be from HSBC, first sms saying here is the verfication code xxxxxx, if you did not request this, get in touch on (02) 8550 2480 to verify. Then another text 2 days later saying A new IOS 16 has successfully registered into your mobile application. If this was not yourself, Please contact us on (02) 8550 2500.

Both SMS detail shows that they were from 0411 990 198 0411 990 198).

Watch out for scams claiming to be from Banks and to call a dodgy number, i.e (02) 8550 2500 (02) 8550 2500)
