Scammer via Whatsapp after I posted something for sale on Gumtree. I now just expect a scammer so no surprise.

THEY WILL SEND YOU A LINK THAT LOOKS LIKE AUSPOST, IT IS FAKE AND A SCAM

Wanting to buy item & willing to pay courier charges etc. on checking- reputed scammer- all as described above.

Messaged via whatsapp in response to Gumtree ad with a blonde woman as the profile picture. Wanted to organise a courier to melbourne and pay remotely. I declined after seeing these responses.

A very suspicious conversation that made no sense. The person only asked questions that were in the ad, then wanted to have merchandise couriered.

After posting item for sale on gumtree, contacted immediately. Wanted to arrange courier for delivery. When they started asking about making a secure transaction then I knew to look up their number and surely, very similar here to what had been described. Thank you for saving us wasting our time with this number.

I am dealing with this scammer now and he/she asked me to increase my bank limits.
I was post something on Gumtree and she pretend she wants to buy the shoes and send me a link, said she has already paid the money and ask me to put all the details of my bank card.
