Caller: Peter This guy almost convinced me that I had secured a job for my 22yo son. I was working out the best way of paying him $241 when I googled his number and saw that there were many complaints and accusations of him being a scammer.

Caller: "Matthew" A polite man calling himself Matthew called and said I had been referred by another person saying I was looking for a driving job. After a 10 minute convivial conversation he offered me the actual job in a neighboring suburb and he said I would also get trained to operate a forklift. He wanted me to fpos $200 to him to cover the cost of the forklift licence. He became evasive when I asked for the warehouse address (as I like to drive past and work out a practical commute route) saying he would supply all details after I paid him $200. He was most insistent & urgent about the money to the point where I became suspicious and told him I would call him straight back. I then looked his number up on RA and realised after reading other posts Matthew is a $200 scammer.

Caller: 0410 874 199 Was called today from this number. I got a little suspicious when the caller named "Daniel" offered me a position that was almost too good to be true. Would really sketchy when i pressed for the address of the warehouse... then said they had "many" warehouses. The guy was super nice, very agreeable, was empathetic and at first seemed legit. I got more suspicious when he was pressing me to make a payment for the scissor lift of $180 and preferred I use commonwealth bank (which I do not use) he wanted was becoming more and more persistent calling me several times trying to get a payment from me today or before 7pm. I decided to do a quick check on his number through google and found this site which confirmed my suspicion. Be careful our there people. Do not pay!

Caller: Peter 100% SCAM! Do not COMPLY. I’ve been scammed the exact same method that ‘Peter’ uses but was from a different number, similar voice. Asking for payment for a scissor lift and forklift course for a driving job. Once paid through cardless cash, the certificates will come in and I got the job. There is no job. Once they receive cardless cash, they disappear. They are very believable. They will pretend to call the admin girl and confirm details etc. to make it sound more believable.
