Call from "Green Home Services", a Sydney based company asking if I had solar panels.

Not sure if legit or not, but backed away quickly when I advised I am on the Do Not Call register.

Just received a call from this number with silence and then a computer voice saying 'goodbye'.

Nuisance phone call. They never leave a message and when you call back it sys the number is not connected.

Received call regarding solar panels. Told them we are renting and they hung up.

Just had a call from this number 0410 787 655) asking for me, when I asked if they were "selling" the "Asian sounding" female said no and then started to ask me if I had solar panels. I put the phone down instantly. we are on the Do Not Call Register too!!!!!

I too have had the Solar Panel call from this number. I've lodged a complaint too.

I too have received numerous calls re solar panels from 'the Australian Govt' !
Will find out how to block this number. I am on the do not call register!

Indian accented caller, wanted to speak to "the owner of the business" about eligibility for the solar panel rebate scheme. Even after I told her I was not the owner of the business and couldn't help, she still kept trying to talk about the solar panel rebate scheme. Blocked the number.

Just a a call from this number. Person sounded like they were from India.
Wanted to check my eligibility for the solar panel rebate scheme.
Told him I was not interested. He then proceeded to tell me he would come over the property himself.
Extremely threatening behaviour.

Female voice with strong Indian accent "I'm calling on behalf Australia government. Do you have solar power?" Told her I was not interested, she laughed and kept talking - I hung up on her. Call back on her number - got a recorded reply "the number is not connected".
Scam.

Thanks everyone. I have had quite a few calls from this number. Shall deal better next time they ring. Creepy world... have to question everything.

Repeated missed calls on my answer service. No message. Can't call them back as it is a number that is supposedly not connected. I'm pretty crabby as I'm in the Do Not Call Register. No way of blocking it on my home phone.

Received a call today from this number. When I answered there was silence for about 5-6 seconds, then a computerised sounding voice said: 'Goodbye' & then the call was ended. The call lasted a total of 9 seconds. About 20 minutes later our phone rang again, this time it was a private number. Decided not to answer as it would appear the computerised call was checking to see if someone is home. I suspect this is some sort of telemarketing company. Not happy, as we are on the 'Do not Call' register.

Heavy accented caller with a lot of background noise typical of a call centre. Asked for one of my minor children(!) by name. Would not state who they were or what the call was about, I hung up. We're also on the do not call register.

They called us and left a very scary and concerning voice message... sounded like a creepy child singing into the phone. When we tried to call back it said "call could not be connected, please check the number and try again". I was with two other young girls all under the age of 17 freaked us out

hi they keep changing their name and also use other companies names

Person stating he was from a government incentive then asked if we had solar panels on our roof. He asked for me by name. I informed him he was not to call us as we were on the do not call register and I hung up. Will be blocking this number along with the many others we seem to be collecting.

Yes, I have just received a call from these people and I have lodged a complaint as I am also on the Do Not Call Register.
