Caller: 0410 673 751 as per above I, too, received a text "MSG from Transurban: Your have a toll trip in July marked as unpaid. Please fix the bill to avoid late fees. http://.UtL27dG.com" really? Given I don't haven't lived or travelled in Melb (thank you Covid19) or Syd (not in July I havent!) for a LONG time I doubt I owe anything BUT whilst copying the msg from my phone onto here I DID click the link accidentally AND my firewall shut me down fast - so, yup, this is bad news

Caller: SMS ‘Message from Transurban. Your have a toll trip in August marked as unpaid. Please fix the bill to avoid late fees’ is exactly what the message says with a link. Considering I don’t have a car it’s a bit hard to have an unpaid toll… If they want to scam someone use better English! Don’t fall for these toll messages. If u have a real toll outstanding they post you a reminder and a final demand. They never text.
Don’t tell me other telcos haven’t had an Optus type data breach. I swapped from Vodafone to Boost which is via Telstra a couple of months ago and since then have received scam calls and sms messages daily…
