Enquired about my Gumtree ad via whatsapp and wanting to purchase it through fedex express. Looked legit but then sends a fedex link to use for you to get paid then asks for your credit card details. Watch out. Scammer.

Online Scam. Contacted through whatsapp and asked banking details.

FedEx and Courier Pickup, sensed a scammed looked up the number and saw your posts.

Same, i tried to sell macbook and she/he ask for delivery. When i said i only do face to face, stop replying. Then i found this

Consistent with above took a long time to reply and then without further questions asked to organise a delivery service - immediate red flag so came straight here and searched the number

Received same process as above. Person posing as a buyer via gumtree.
Person made contact via WhatsApp instead of gumtree. Wanting card details for payment and to deliver via FedEx.
Scam, beware.

Same as all the other people, they contacted me through WhatsApp after seeing my Gumtree ad. I’ve called them out in their scamming ways and will try to file a police report.

Responded to gumtree ad via what’s app. Asked to purchase goods without viewing and would send a link for me to fill in via fed ex.

Exact same thing happened to me as above. Contacted me via WhatsApp to buy something via gumtree, and when they sent details of courier it just didn’t seem right. Definitely a scam

Same thing just happened to me. Delivery service. From same number the message came through watsapp.

Same, ask me on WhatsApp about the stuff I am selling then say whether I agree they organise FedEx pickup. I saw the reviews here and say to him/her stop scamming and they didn't reply.
