Caller: Chefgood Got a text message "Hi [my first name], to help us achieve a smooth delivery, please click on the tracking link...". No info in the text on who sent it or what the delivery was, so of course I thought it was a scam and ignored it. Turns out the text was from Chefgood - meal delivery service I have used for several years. Looks like they have changed their courier and are updating delivery info (residential property, leave at front door, etc,...). So, not a scam, but the communication is so terrible it deserves to be treated as one!

Received message from this number yesterday saying my iPantry order was going to be delivered today. Thought it was a scam, so contacted the company and reported it... got two more messages today saying it was due for delivery and then delivered. ... turns out my friend sent me a gift and it was a legit message.. I now have donuts.

Caller: Youfoodz They keep sending texts saying my order is ready. Sick of getting these texts, I have never ordered from them, I have asked them to stop sending messages to my number and they send them again and again, so annoying, they need reporting

Caller: Hamper emporium I got two texts saying my hamper emporium delivery was on its way. I immediately thought it was a scam because of the suss looking links. I didn’t click them. And as I was reading through all of these responses to confirm, a surprise delivery from hamper emporium arrived that my dad had ordered for me. So not a scam for me but i also didn’t click the links just in case.

Text saying I had a Hamper Emporium delivery and directing me to a link to track delivery. Had SCAM written all over it so deleted it straight away

Caller: Dinner Ladies Like many others, mine appears to have been a delivery service trying to improve delivery accuracy for a gift ordered by someone else for me. I thought it was a scam but had an email about the gift from the same company. In my case, if I had ignored it, my delivery would likely have come anyway. Hence why many could think it was a scam but you can probably ignore it anyway.

I also received several texts about a Gifts Australia delivery with a link and thought it was a scam so did not click. The final message said my gift had been delivered and there was a gift from Hamper Emporium at the front door. I clicked on the link afterwards and it was legit

Message yesterday from this number announcing that a parcel I am expecting will be delivered today. As this would have been an unusually fast delivery I checked the number. Sure enough a scam. These people must be intercepting messages from suppliers or Australia Post.

Invited click on website relating to delivery from entity I was expecting delivery from. Smelt a rat and have blocked. How did they know I was expecting such a delivery?

SCAM. Don't waste your time. Because it's Christmas, and the company it referenced is real, I checked the delivery tracking link that was sent through. It took me to a home delivery service sales page. Total scam.

Caller: Legitimate text message from Cheese Therapy company I also received a message with a link to "Cheese Therapy" and that my box was almost there. I didn't order anything either. I didn't click on any links as I thought it was spam. However as it turned out a giftbox with Cheeses was delivered to our door, sent to us as a gift for Father's day from my son. The package arrived. This number is totally legit if you get a "Cheese Therapy" message, somebody is sending you a giftbox! The Cheese Therapy is a fair dinkum company.
