A Female claiming to be from Foxtel wanting my Surname and email address to apparently identify myself. When I said that she called me and should know who it is she is calling and I refuse to give my details she tried to continue talking at this point I hung up the phone. I called back number 0409 737 268 reached IVR for a company called Foxtel. Caller: 0409 737 268
Was keen for me to pay with credit card over the phone
Even to call tomorrow
It’s scam. Caller: Foxtell
I had missed three payments, fixed it and all legit on my bank statement later.
If they can't leave a message then I do not reply or respond. I would assume that if it was important they would leave a name and reason to why they are calling, but this number didn't. So for that reason I would guess it is a SCAM!! Scam! Woman claiming to be from Foxtel, but calling outside their customer service hours (6:30pm!) Wanted my details to confirm my identity but I declined and ended the call.
