I called back number 0408 674 212 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Answered and there was no answer, just silent.

TL;DR- block the number it’s a scam.
Have been getting calls from this number every so often, decided to answer and it was an Aussie guy calling from some investment company called equity.
He knew my name, said that they had spoken to me before about joining a seminar but I wasn’t able to go (spoiler alert, I’ve never spoken to these people in my life and certainly have never been invited to any seminars).
He gave me the spiel about the company being about investments and financial growth for early retirement, blah blah blah, said that they cannot do seminars at the moment but can meet face to face. He knew the suburb that I lived in. Asked what I and my husband are doing for work at the moment. Told him I’m currently unemployed and am not, and never have been married, I am single. He the promptly said he’ll fix the info and to have a good day. Safe to say I’m blocking the number now.

0408 674 212 - calls at least twice a day. I have blocked this number but still receiving "missed call" text advice

A Aussie male called my mobile from this number and said he is calling from a company : Equilty. I asked him how did he get my number and he said I have been to their meeting. I told to screw him self. I feel sorry for this guy. Can't he find a better job than this ?

Said he was told to call me when a property seminar was coming up. Told him I’m not looking at buying property & he hung up

This number has called me multiple times a day for the last week and a half. Got sick of it today so have blocked them!

Same as everybody else. They call a few times a day. I rang back the first time not knowing if it was a potential client and it said the number was disconnected.
Funny that, as they rang from the same number a few more times in the day.....

Do not answer - it's a scam. Alleging that they could reinvest my money so I can pay off my mortgage obligations.

I got this call today threatening me that I would be fined for something, I hung up!

They disconnect as soon as I answer the call

I am getting 2-3 calls per day from this number. I tried ringing back and it says the number is disconnected. I have blocked the number, but it keeps coming through. Assume it is a scam call.
