Called claiming they work for Optus and attempted to sell a discount of 40% on my next phone bill. I would describe the Indian woman as being very demanding asking me to verify my date of birth. When I said 'I'm an existing customer of Optus, you should already have my email address' she got very angry and hung up.

Caller: Scammer pretending to be Optus

Called trying to pretend to be an Optus scammer and send a code to my phone. Defiantly seems suspicious call center vibes. Beware.

Caller: Kolkata Scam Call Center

Claiming to work for Optus and they have a "great new deal". They send you some code and then the process of scamming begins. Ignore this number, or ask for the lamb korma with garlic naan bread as I did.
