Of course this is just another idiot trying to scam people, but I just thought that it may be beneficial to others to print his whole message here.

Thanks everyone, I nearly fell for this as I share the same last name, the message I received was:
“ Hi, this is Thomas Flynn from BMO. I have a mutually beneficial business proposition. Contact me through my personal email for details: t.flynn6060 @ gmail.com”
from the number: 0402 014 047
When you think about it, anyone who sends a message worded like that is clearly going to scam you for something. Sadly, only the vulnerable respond to messages like that, and its just the vulnerable they want. What a sad society we live in that lets this happen.
