I was called by someone claiming to be from the Local Neighborhood Safety Journal telling me my ad was unchanged and a copy of the journal would be posted to me. Funnily enough, payment was due even though I never signed up for this. Scammer.

I called back number 0402 862 996 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Said she was from the “bushfire journal “ and saying I signed up for a 12 month subscription in their magazine. I don’t think so and for $500. Piss off.

Caller: alicia

my husband received a call from 'Alicia' claiming to be from a community services magazine saying that we had agreed to advertise our business with them in November last year and that the publication was being sent today cost being $500 plus she made him give a pin to confirm information etc .
I rang her back to enquire where she was from and she couldn't even tell me she was extremely rude over the phone and hung up in my ear I believe she is associated with the Australian emergency services magazine
