100% scammer good looking site but don't be fooled

This scammer is back, targeting Gum Tree users. The low life has a new number. He will ‘What App’ you as opposed to SMS.
0485 841 846. Contacted me yesterday 21/9/22. Sounded suss when he wanted to use a courier even though I offered to deliver the goods.

Yes first got in contact via ebay and offered me a bit less for my item .
silly me was interested and he sent a whats app message with a link to what
appeared to be a Australia post secure pay site .Turned out it was just a scam
to get my card numbers and when it didnt work a so called customer officer on the site suggested i use a diffrent card and change my settings to allow larger transfers.

SCAMMER!!!! Be ware!! I was so busy I didn’t even think twice and out my details in but realised right away what I’d done and blacked my card. Now I’m sitting on wait on the telephone wasting my time!!! Frustrated is an understatement

He WhatsApp a message wanting to buy a flute and did this routine of paying via Aust Post. It needed me to put my card details on this site. So I checked his number on this site and he turns out to be a Gumtree scammer..beware!

I just did a Google search on this guy and number & this site came up straight away. This weak person is trying to scam me right now. Monday 30th May 2022 on WhatsApp. I didn't even put any whatsapp details on the ad. He's a scammer and a low life !

Gumtree scammer,he said he was sick, trying to persuade you to post your stuff, he recon he has big discount on post office.

Recieved a late night Whatsapp message about my guitar listing on gumtree. Was OVERTLY eager to get me to agree to a courier pickup of the guitar. Linked me through to an official looking auspost courier launch page that linked back to the auspost site.... But still required me to enter card details. It was almost convincing. But free money is always suss. Went dark as soon as I asked for more details.

He obviously looked me up on Whatsapp - I had not posted these details with the ad. Looks like he's impersonating someone else. He said he was sick and couldn't pick up, located in York. I asked if he knew someone I knew there, he said 'No, courier knows...', how dumb can he get? Not too bright for a scammer. Asked if he could pay "Auspost secure pay" see ACMA about scam details.
