Same here, ditched them, because got transfered to them from Mojo by aer.gov.au. EA did not bother to put on discount plan, probably hoping that one uninformed user will pay their exhorbitant rates. Decided to ditch them.
After ditching, they emailed offering $75 sign-up credit with some bs about "we were required to put you on our Basic Home Plan (our standard retail contract)". Now they call.

Have just changed electricity provider too, away from Energy Australia, they were too hard to contact and painful to deal with and were sneaky with their "discounts" whereas new plans were actually cheaper, even after "discounts" they previously offered on an ongoing basis (e.g. they increased the base rate over time to render the "discounts" ineffective).
