Caller: Optus Got a call from "optus"...offering me 40% off my bill for the next 3 months due to covid. All I need to do is confirm my date of birth and she would SMS me the activation code... When I ptessed for more details on which department she was calling from and what the offer was about she hung up...

Caller: Optus Also got a call from 0400 286 425 offering me 30% discount on my optus bill. Wanted my date of birth. Wouldn't provide any further details or answer questions I asked. Definitely a scam.

This number was a scam number saying they were from optus offering a discount because of Covid. Do not give out any details.
