I am constantly receiving texts from the above number asking for $507.53 owing to Optus. I have not been or have an account with Optus for several years. Is there a solution to this harassment?

They today are offering to take "FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS OFF". Don't pay, go on the linked website OR call them. they are F.A.K.E

Got an SMS saying I owe Vodafone $2000. Checked the account number they quoted and it was not any of mine. Hid my number and called them. Before giving them anything I asked them who they are and the lady on the phone got defensive and aggressive. I told her tell me about your company so I feel safe to talk to you and she said no. I told her to f*ck off. Scam.

Caller: Reportedly Optus

I had received a letter in the mail asking for payment of an outstanding account last year and had paid it out of fear. Now receiving messages reporting I have not settled the account and to pay remainder. 'Optus' are now sending more texts accepting less and less of the payment, if paid within 7 days. I do believe it is a scam and I am not responding.
