This caller did not leave a message, now blocked. If they can’t be bothered to leave a message I can’t be bothered phoning back.

Ignoring my own advice never to answer calls from these scamming pests - ever - I picked up the phone this time because I was in a thoroughly bad mood. I didn't intend to speak, however, just to listen. And the scammers normally hang up if your don't speak. T
This time, though, a silly sounding woman suddenly said something like "Good afternoon, how are you doing today?" When I snapped, "I BEG YOUR PARDON? Who are you?", she immediately hung up.
They must think I'm just waiting here for the opportunity to have a nice little personal chat with yet another a total stranger, about the thousandth, butting into my home? I kept the line open for the next hour in the hope that it would interfere with them. At least doing that gives me some peace, and I will now block the number.
I will add that this is all likelihood not a Melbourne number, as some people reporting the scam calls seem to believe. It is far more likely that these scammers are using a spoofed number, as most scammers do. And I'm fed up to the back teeth with this incessant plague of these calls.

Beware of this unlisted number as it is almost certainly yet another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion.

Claimed to be doing survey on behalf of Australian Charities. I said "no thanks" they hung up.

Didn't answer - the 9999 number looked suspect, which as previous reveal is a correct assumption

I missed a phone call from (03) 9999 7485 on my unlisted phone number and they did not leave a message. I rang the number back and received a message that the number was not connected so definitely a scam

8/2/23(note-this number if called back is disconnected) Indian woman claiming to be from charity republic.org(doesn't exist) asking to do survey re willing to donate to any,
did their survey being careful to not give out any personal info, and said NO TO ALL, then checked their info and got this page.
From past experience answering NO TO ALL with these possible scammers deters them from calling back, let's hope it works this time.

Strongly accented woman claiming to be from some Survey organisation.
I didn't quite get which organisation as I hung up after the word survey.

Caller: Don’t know from whom the call was!

I let the call fade out as no message was left. I suspect it is a spam again.
