Just an alert
I received a call from a foreign sounding male claiming to be from Telstra telling me our Internet IP address had been compromised and hackers were trying to get in!

I asked for their phone number to call back and was given
(03) 9999 7336

I then phoned Telstra who told me it was a scam
Please be careful and especially warn your relatives who may be easily fooled as this guy was quite professional sounding.

No voicemail left. Had received 2 calls earlier in a short time frame from a different number and received a call from this number shortly after. Very weird.

Left a 3 seconds voice mail with bad words on it . The caller is a female . Obvs. It’s a number idk 🤷‍♀️ . Like seriously scammers , grow up.

Recieved a call at 7:00pm from the abovementioned phone number. phone security identified the caller as '13computers' apparently a store in Melbourne, Victoria. Smells fishy. Judging hy this thread the number is a scammer or malware of sorts

Answered the phone as "William" and then hung up. Has called back twice since.

Received 3 calls to our business today - 1st was a woman asking about LED lights, 2nd was a male also asking about LED lights and 3rd we didn't even bother answering.

Have had 3 calls today and each time a pop up comes through asking if I would rather chat on my computer!! It's a scam, so I've now reported it.

Government exhaust fan replacement "scheme", not sure how they got my number as it's a business extension number.

Number was Government funded exhaust fan installation advised caller not interested. the number has rang 6 times in the last hour and when answered gave engaged signal. Pain in the neck. New scam using old number

This number, or a similar number with lots of 9s is calling all hours of the day. I don't answer calls and let them go to voicemail, they never leave a message. Take care out there, these people are unbelievable!

once more another "APPARENT" scam job again ? Above number rang today ( (03) 9999 7336) 5:54pm ( 19/11/22) to which "NO" message "NO" Speaker left / had verbal communication ? As the case people australia wide receiving an inundation of recent call,s whether scams ? cruel hoax ? Stupid Antics ? Like every one else "ABOVE" have chosen to place a notification about this number !

Checked here for this number. These previous reports were a few years ago. No message. Either the same scammer or a new scammer using the same phone number reported a few years ago.

They rang me at 9:15 pm last night. Didn't answer them and nothing happens when I ring the number back...

i had the same call today and they got into my computer. how do I stop them from getting in again?
