went to message bank with no message so no doubt it is a spammer/scammer as my phone says

I felt the same. Caller claimed to be from "Insight Australia" and said she was calling about a survey on the state of the economy. I asked for credentials and she skipped over the question. She asked how many people in my house and I refused to answer because she didn't give me enough information about where she was from and the purpose of the survey. She said 'ok' then proceeded to ask me another question. I hung up.

This caller rang me today my child answered the phone, then immediately my child hung up when they heard non English speaking person. Why are these spammer/ scammers calling me as im on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER what is the point of having do not call register?

Says conducting a survey. Wouldn't shut up. So I yelled at her then hung up and blocked the number

Returned call said that I have been randomly selected for a market survey.

Said he was from Insights Australia and was doing a survey. I asked some questions about the company he was working for. He said the Australian website was down for maintenance and referred me to a Filipino website. I asked him to spell it but he just hung up.

It looks like they are now using (03) 9989 5242 as well. I knew it was a scam so kept the guy on the phone as long as possible. Love playing with these guys once he hung up I just block the caller on my phone

Calling to conduct surveys for “economic health of Australia”. Really is a survey to see if you have insurance, mortgages etc so they can call you back to sell you insurance, mortgage products. I used a fake name and have been getting follow up calls since. Each time they ask for the fake name, I know who it is and hang up.

Caller claimed to be from Insghts Australia conducting a survey. I had a look at the ACMA guidelines for the Do Not Call Register, and research calls are permitted, even if you are on the Do Not Call Register.

Callers are required to follow some rules, which can be found on ACMA's website here: https://www.acma.gov.au/protect-yourself-unwanted-calls-and-faxes#calls-you-might-receive-

The person I briefly spoke to appeared to have followed the rules (called between permitted timeframes, provided their name and their company's name, and the purpose of the call). However, the call sounded very much like a scam call, so I said I wasn't interested and hung up. I did not report them to ACMA as they did not appear to be breaching any rules.

Call me three times. First two time I picked up and no one is talking. Third time I check the comments and get it blocked
