Automatic call purporting to be from ANZ which it obviously wasn’t.

Called saying they were from Telstra, informing us that they’d noticed our modem had changed from private to public.
I said that’s fine my partner works in IT we can sort it ourselves.
Scammer wasn’t impressed lol

Caller: A Steve

Claimed to be from my bank
supposedly a family friend Ryan Millar (never heard of )
Is trying to withdraw $900 from our every day account
and if not authorized I need to give this Steve all my details within half n hour to stop this transactions going ahead!

When I stated to Steve yes I authorize and be sure to double his required amount
SCAMMER Steve was quick and rude enough to swear and hang up on me!
Ha ha .. go get a real job Steve!! 👎🏼

Caller: They say Telstra

They say 'We're Telstra, calling about your internet', so I said 'Our internet isn't Telstra' and they hung up without a further word.

Supposedly from Telstra saying my IP address had been compromised. Hadn’t received any other notifications from Telstra. Just hung up on them and they didn’t call back.

Caller: “Hi this is Amanda from Telstra calling about your internet.”

Absolutely NOT Telstra. SCAM.

Call centre noises coming though, they hung up after I didn’t say anything.

Left no message. Most likely scam call

Called but hung up as soon as I answered
