Dodgy Power Slammers. IP number, sub continental boiler room.

Caller: "Sylvia" from Power Solutions

Absolute scam. I'm on the do not call registry so whenever I get these calls I know they're an overseas call centre. You could here lots of thick accents and "sylvia" would speak in a different language to someone nearby if I asked her something that distracted her from the script.

Very very pushy, asking for personal details. I asked why she needed specific personal details in order to give me a good power deal. She refused, saying she can't give a good deal without knowing my current rate. Managed to waste about 10mins of her time. She kept repeating the same bit of her script. Typical scam

Ignored call to VM. I returned call 2hrs later, answered by an (unidentified) recorded message requesting I leave details, so I hung up. Called back again x3 and call wouldn't connect. Recommend you block & avoid.

Missed call after hours yesterday . Attempted return call today. Automatic voice says call can’t be connected. Blocked reported to scam watch.

They said nothing, I think they expect people to say their name which they can use to build a profile and steal your identity.

As with all other complaints regarding this number.. scammers blocked

(03) 9969 5398 - got a call from this number (said 'Melbourne' number), clearly a scammer as hung up after I said 'hello'.

Unknown number called. No message left presume spam & number blocked.

He said he wanted to confirm my name and something about electricity. I asked him to call back.

I answered the call, and didn't say anything - the call disconnected without the calling party saying anything - obviously scam scumbag

Federal Government rebate scam. Ive now blocked the number

Yes, I say a sheepish "hello?" to these strange numbers, by the time they try to connect to me I stay schtum and 4 seconds later they disconnect. Saves the pain for everyone.
