Got a call today from MBS number (03) 9947 9812 today - have not had one for a few months.I have the number in my contacts so I know not to answer.Beware - they are back making unsolicited spam calls.Do not answer under any circumstances.

I got a call from this number and no message left - just like (03) 9999 5800.

When I called the number the message says:  "Welcome to BMS.  The matter is not urgent.  One of our consultants will return your call"

Oh no they won't.....not with my caller ID hidden.

Does anyone know who they are and if they are connected to 03 9999 5800?

I was getting the same as well, I rang the (03) 8851 2200 number and have asked for my number to be removed. The telemarketing lady was very nice about it and said aapt and energy Australia are using the BMS services at the moment. Less than a minute after the (03) 9947 9812 rang me. Just say I wasn't happy, and my number is off the list now!!!!

I too have received calls from this number.  I called (03) 8851 2200 as mentioned in the thread above and spoke with Brett today.  He confirmed that they will take my number off their list.  Hope so as I really object to these stalker-style calls with no person at the other end.

I received a call from this number everyday last week between 5pm & 6pm...and this now confirms why i never answer unknown numbers.
Thanks for your help guys above, I'll be calling BMS right away.

I too have called the head office of BMS as mentioned on the first lot of replies, and got my number removed from their list. 6 calls in 3 days, they ring twice and hang up.... Weird....
