Daily calls from this number - am on Do Not Call Register so am getting them to look in to it; would recommend everyone does the same.

they dont stop and when i pick up they hang up and when i call back they say this confirming recieved messaged from eftell

(03) 9946 0589 is a group called EFTEL. There reception number is in Melb (03) 9090 2525 They transferred me to a customer service person and I told them I am on the do not call register. I told them to remove my number or I would contact the Aust Privacy Commissioner and the Telecommunications Ombudsman. They said they would comply. Maybe everyone should try this. PS Be polite, I got yes Sir etc. Hope this works

It's your phone co and / or internet provider selling your details to these clowns ... both parties breached the privacy act but threat them with government communication departments and see them run the other way. lol

OK so I started answering the calls, one guy australian accent(03) 8383 4900) wouldn't say where he was from and wanted me to do some survey on workplace safety, got out of that by saying I haven't worked in over 6 months. The other guy indian accent (03) 9224 8099) is from Telco. He claims I sent an inquiry through to them asking for them to call me about changing my mobile service. Will keep updating as I get more calls. :)

I have been receiving phone calls from (03) 9946 0589, (03) 8256 6799 and (03) 9224 8099 non stops for past 3 days and I had to call through VRS (Video Relay Service) because I am Deaf person but VRS told me that the numbers were hanged up after said that it was a call from Ftell and telling me that I have Bay Club which I never have this. It is really annoyed and frustrated for me. Please STOP call!!!!

(03) 9946 0589. this number has been calling me on and off for the last couple of months any where between 15 times a day if not more they say there an internet provider and i made contact with them for a plan. which i never when i answer there line cuts out. do not answer there calls!!!!

I am going to mention this issue with my own personal experience with people I communicate with. And I'm going to strongly suggest a company is only as strong as its weakest link. There is a glaring weakness apparent here. Since I have not compiled a total aggrigate of the communications movements interactions I would strongly suggest to give NO information to this or related persons accossiated with eftel in its written or spoken word in similarity to, or linked id via number to

I just use call blocker on my mobile as soon as i find the number is a telemarketer and no more calls. With landlines I use an answer machine and dont personally answer calls, i'll ring back if it is a call i want to call back. Saves all the frustration.

On the Do Not Call register,calls all the time,with caller ID we do not answer as the number is not known,we were left with a very abusive message from this company,they have called 5 times in the one day,still calling after several weeks,how do we stop them?

These people are so persistently annoying. 5 - 6 calls a day and they disconnect as soon as I answer the call. On dial back, a recorded message "confirms that you have been contacted by an EFTEL sales representative. I rang EFTEL 1300 550 550) and registered my complaint with them.....yet the calls to my number continue.
I reported them to ACMA and registered on DO NOT CALL REGISTER
Considering EFTELS telemarketing strategy, WHO WOULD WANT TO BE THEIR CUSTOMER anyway!?!
