I love my Android phone! Display indicated it was a spam caller, I didn't answer, checked here, and I have now blocked this number.

Rings a couple of times a day on landline and now mobile. Probably for 3 months. Have never answered. Wish they’d just give it up!

Caller: A damn annoying human working for the devil. Didn't catch the name but they were calling about a survey for the Australian health system. I refused and they insisted saying it would improve the system. When I flat out refused the third time they asked me a reason why (blame all the other unsolicited callers). Worst of all they called on a Sunday 04/08/29 at 11am while I was still in bed.

Caller: Said: Ipsos survey or something Would definitely blow whistle into hand piece if had a whistle, poster on here who gets annoyed when someone does this must be a telemarketer himself. Also people saying don't answer as this supposed to mark your phone as live, not sure if this correct as many posters say they don't answer but the same number comes up many times. This number comes on on my phone as "unavailabe" , this is a warning for me to be aware, now blocked the number.

If you do that you are assaulting someone physically. If you damage someone's hearing or cause mental trauma you can be prosecuted. Don't be so stupid.

Caller: female Market research conducting a survey for a Government department... which department was not specified. If this is indeed a legitimate research company calling, they are not respecting the 'Do Not Call Register'. She asked for the main account holder/decision maker, told her I was not interested in calling. Said she would call back in future. I told her not to bother.

Dear 'PocketRocket', from March 25, 2018; If you think that it's you enacting 'the perfect revenge', you must be retarded. You do realise that this tactic hardly equates to punching someone in the face 'through the telephone', don't you? It certainly isn't 'deafening' at the other end, it isn't even annoying, let alone even bothersome. In fact, all it displays is your complete lack of comprehension of how telephones work, coupled with your misguided sense of smugness that within your own mind equates to 'Ah-hah, I won!' Don't believe me? Have someone call you, and attempt to 'deafen you' with a whistle from their end - you will soon see how pathetically weak your 'punch' truly is. (What you will in fact realise is that it's actually you who goes deaf first, as the intensity of your whistle is one hundred fold louder to your own ears locally, than it is to anyone else at the other end...)
