I have had a call from this number and whoever it was hung up in my ear. I don't know who it is but I am a World Vision sponser too.

Received a call from this number, answered but they hung up without saying anything after a few secs.
Also sponsor through Workd Vision.

I was a WV sponsor too however, my sponsored child moved out of the program so I donated to another charity close to my heart.

I didn't answer this call as I didn't know the number and I can see now that it was a good idea to ignore it.

Just got a call from this number.. didn't answer.

I am getting two calls a day from them and didn't know who it was because they don't leave messages. I have an anxiety disorder and unknown phone calls stir me up badly. I have had to unplug my phone and sent msgs to my family saying they won't be able to phone. I can't help it, it makes my heart race and my hands shake.

Agreed. A waste of sponsors money. How many childrens lives could be supported without calls Employ staff to make the calls. And the trail continues. I have decided to move my sponsor money elsewhere. I suggest people do the same.

I just received a call from this number! I decided to Google search and found this page. Thank you for alerting me to this. I will block this number from now onward.

yes I'm a WV sponsor and i get calls from this number as well. They hang up before I can answer.

This number has been bugging me now for weeks. Sometimes I answer, and there is no one there. Other times I just ignore it. I have tried calling the number back to no avail. I am sick of it!!!!!

Just received a call today. 3 calls and stopped. No message.

I also get these calls a lot. Never an answer at their end but often a noise like hanging up the phone. Very strange.

Rang my work number and all I could hear was dogs barking.

I get calls every week. NO messages left .. I am reading here that it is world vision.. I am surprsied as I have been a part of WV for a number of years as a sponsor and these calls have only recently started. WV usually contact me via email.. seems strange WV would make these calls.

They won't stop calling I am getting 2 a day... Not answering very annoying!

I just emailed them and asked them to stop calling. And told them that there are other annoyed with constant calls too. We will see what happens

Several calls from this number. I also sponsor World Vision. I have not answered any calls after reading this feedback. Always goes to VM but does not leave a number.

I got a call tonight too!!! They said it's an urgent call, and she could name every single child that I sponsor with World Vision!!! I wonder if this is an information leak within the organisation or an ex-employee doing a payback. I asked her to shoot me more info via email so that I can have a think about it, she immediately went, I'll call you another time.
I then said to her, well you have my email, just send me the details, I'm keen to sponsor another child, just not right now, so........... after couple of hours, where is the email!!!
