I had this guy (Rob) hassle me for money last feb - to support NT Police Bluelight discos, I sent on to the local PD and they advised me not to give him any money - he is at it again - called last week and i recognised the voice and back story.. now he is saying that he is selling advertising packages within the NT Police Community and giving support to our local Police... I believe this is a scam! He is now using a different number too 1300 784 072 Caller: Mac Thornton
0478 488 222 Don’t pick up this number. I asked to send me info via email and it went straight to my spam. Trying to sell advertising for police newsletters. Sick of these people wasting my time
0478 488 866 - calls asks money for police :D good luck i know you are scam ! Someone called from mobile number 0478 488 866 asking for sponsorship for neighbourhood watch, I asked him for a return phone number and he gave me this one, (03) 9937 0200 - Country Wide Austral. Don't use this Company for any of your Advertising. The sell there product to you with the promise of proofing your artwork and don't and publish it anyway in plain standard types print and still bill you $400+ and if you dont pay they sell the debt to a legal collection agency. Called our business stating his name was Jerry Harris from the Federal Police Association asking for a favour from our "senior partner". He left this mobile number: 0409 609 606. Scammers, selling advertising for SES also known to sell in Seniors magazines all total bullsh*t, pay them nothing. Caller: 99370200
I cannot believe I fell for this scam! Ive already paid the invoice for the SES and now the AiPol Police Journal want their invoice paid. Is there any way I can get out of it?
Thanks in advance.
Caller: Re- I use to work there
I use to work for these guys & every body that works there are commission based salesman who work out of a call centre in the Melbourne CBD.. all of us were paid 35% commission with no set wage or bonuses .. we were told to push hard no matter what & take no for an answer ... I had to leave because they implored my many drug addicts & convicted criminals including people who are convicted sex offenders selling for charities like kid smart who are supposed to protect the community !!! I had enough ... this 1 big scam as they don’t even print hard copies of the magazine. I felt guilty taking the hard earned money of those people that have paid this company.. so on behalf of every 1 at that company.. I’m deeply sorry for ripping you guys off . I suggest you donate to legitimate charities . I hope this helps guys

They scammed us for two different 'advertisements' claiming to be on behalf of the police and ambulance. We then received non stop harassing fake invoices and emails from a plethora of different 'Charities' claiming to all be advertising and claiming that we had agreed! One tricked an employee into paying for an advertisement as they stated that they had received permission from another employee. There where then 3 different bank transactions with our card details from 'different' places! Seriously well sorted scammers. We've had to change all of our cards and thankfully our bank sorted out getting back the stolen funds.
Caller: several different numbers and people
very convincing phone calls. agreed to give $300 then looked into them. SCAM!! don't give them a cent. just say no.
Attention Everyone!! if someone calls you and asks for money, Say NO!! Aussies look after aussies so still donate to worthy causes but not if they ask!!

Told him no not right now and took his number and this was the number he gave me (03) 9937 0200 glad I said no
Tell them to f/off, checked their site, they produce 2000 copies, easily done at officeworks for under $1000 all full colour, no mention or e/copy on their site, owned by an ex crown casino executive, can't believe they sucked me in😞 sure as hell they ain't getting a cent, I got way too much time, I'll get em back, can't stand scammers they called me 7 months ago asking if I would like to support the police welfare foundation, then again for street smart and again for soldier on. yes I'm a bit slow and thinking I'm doing good by the community agreed to all 3. In my defence I didn't think it was one company doing all this at the time. all of a sudden I have paid 7 invoices as I think I'm paying for the ones ive agreed to. even now I get phone calls from different numbers saying our proof is ready and they will deliver the magazine to us. complete scam. don't give them any money no matter what they say Fletcher called pretending to be Federal Police officer wanted our business to pay $4000 per quarter. When I called back the number it went to Countrywide Austral. Biggers scammers They keep calling me and sending invoice, saying they work with vic police but all bulsh*t. They are call me from different numbers none stop Someone saying he is Rob King from Victoria police called and asked for an add to be put in police magizine. Called me several times in the past. Sure Victoria Police do not call people asking for this sort of add. Hesitant to give me the tel number but later gave 99370200.
